My writing journey started at age 13, huddled over the family PC in the infamous „computer room.“ A lot has changed in the 15 years since, but my love for storytelling never faded. Through all those years, and even while earning my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in marketing with business psychology, I couldn’t keep my hands off pen and paper. I wrote more fan fiction, one-shots, songfics, poems, and original stories than I can count. 

I’ve always loved a good romance, sci-fi, or fantasy, but I was waiting for the one, that single, special idea worth all the hours, sweat, and tears. With my novel „The Ones We Can’t Touch“, I finally found it. 

I live in Germany, but I spent most of my summers as a kid floating on a tube across the lakes of Michigan visiting family. The Great Lakes stole my heart, and they somehow always manage to find their way into my writing. 

My best ideas never come at a convenient time. They strike while I’m inline skating or driving, blasting Hans Zimmer scores. To capture them before they vanish, I resort to sending myself voice memos (even if I cringe every single time I have to listen to them back). 

I’m a self-proclaimed yapper – have you noticed? But truly, it’s a great community that makes a story special.
